2011 Replicated Strip Trial Program
Spring has finally arrived in Iowa, and that means work for On-Farm Network® Project Manager Matt Sweeney. This year, Sweeney and Patrick Reeg, technology manager, will work with more than 200 Iowa growers to help them establish, maintain, record harvest data, and analyze results from replicated strip trials and cornstalk nitrate testing programs.
While some of the replicated strip trials are focused on manure and nitrogen management, others are centered on use of other crop inputs, like fungicides, rhizobial inoculants for soybeans, etc.
